Ramiro Musotto
Born in 1963 in the southeast Argentine city of Bahia Blanca, Patagonia, Ramiro Musotto has become one of the most outstanding percussionists of his generation in Brazil. He started his musical career in rock and dissident bands in his hometown before migrating to Brazil in 1982. His twelve years in Salvador de Bahia have allowed him to master the berimbau and work with the likes of Daniela Mercury, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil and other gians of Brazilian music. Musotto released his first solo album Sudaka in 2003. It was labelled one of the greatest-ever recordings of Brazilian electronica.
